Private Instruction

We encourage one-on-one instruction to review your posture, movement restrictions, and personal goals before taking a group class if you are new to Pilates. In addition, it is a great way to familiarize yourself with terminology and equipment.

Private instruction is an excellent way to continue your post-rehabilitation recovery after completing physical therapy. In addition to addressing the injured area, Pilates can improve posture and alignment, build core strength and stability, and increase muscular strength and balance in your entire body. The MELT Method is also incorporated into a private session to help encourage the body’s natural healing capabilities using compression and lengthening techniques created by Sue Hitzmann, MS, CST, NMT, a manual therapist, and exercise physiologist.
