Molly, Tahnee, The Pilates Firm, Cypress

Our Longest Tenured Instructor who is sure to connect with everyone!

Molly’s introduction to Pilates was as a client at our own studio, The Pilates Firm, in 2010.  Her goal was to increase core strength and flexibility in recovery from a back injury.  She personally felt and experienced such benefits from Pilates that she set out to become a STOTT PILATES® certified instructor during the spring of 2011.  She has been an instructor at our studio since then and feels that the clients and staff have become family.  Molly is a native Texan, born and raised in Temple, Texas.  She and her husband moved to Houston after college (in 1991) and after a brief five year career in the corporate world she opted to become a stay at home mom with her three, now grown, daughters.

Tennille, The Pilates Firm, Cypress,

A Passionate Instructor who loves to help people become their better self.

Pilates and MELT Method ® Instructor

Tennille’s introduction to pilates began more than 15 years ago, as part of a personal post-rehab and exercise routine. She chose to pursue instructor education after relocating to Texas from Canada. Her passion for pilates quickly developed into a love for teaching, and more specifically, post-rehab and athletic training.

Tennille has had the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals with low back pain, poor biomechanics/poor posture and osteoporosis. She also works with post-rehab clients for a variety of shoulder, hip and knee injuries, as wells as athletes for injury prevention, joint stability and strength training. Tennille’s knowledge allows her to customize programs to client’s specific needs.

The MELT Method ® has become an integral part of Tennille’s group and private practice. Whether on it’s own, or combined with a pilates repertoire, it increases a client’s ability to reduce the effects of accumulated tension and stress caused by everyday life. This scientific and research based method will change the way you communicate with, and move your body.
